Eligibility Criteria

Aged 18 and above, are expected to meet one of the following criteria:

Possession of a Level 3 Diploma or an equivalent qualification
Attainment of GCE Advanced level in two subjects or an equivalent qualification
Demonstrated relevant management experience for mature learners over 21 (subject to approval by the CIT)
English language proficiency as OTHM guideline

Method of Examination

Confederation of International Talents (CIT) conducts Internal assessments followed by external verification conducted by OTHM.
To pass, the learner must achieve the specified learning outcomes and meet assessment criteria as per standards.

Upon successful completion of the OTHM Level 4 Diploma in Tourism and Hospitality Management, you can advance toward the OTHM Level 5 Diploma or are qualified for direct entry into the second year of a three-year UK Bachelor’s degree program because of Ofqual (Office of the Qualifications and Examinations Regulation).

OTHM Level 5 Extended Diploma in Tourism and Hospitality Management

The OTHM Level 5 Extended Diploma in Tourism and Hospitality Management is an advanced program offering a comprehensive understanding of detailed concepts of tourism and hospitality. This program offers effective learning and implied subject knowledge to excel professionally or further studies. It has a simplified structure wherein learners start with foundational Level 4 units and progress to more advanced Level 5 units. Content is regularly updated to meet employer and higher education needs, while assessments evaluate various skills like cognitive and applied. You will develop academic study skills, including research, writing, analytical thinking, problem-solving, decision-making, and digital literacy.

Method of Examination

Internal assessments by the Confederation of International Talents (CIT) and externally verified by OTHM.
Successful completion (Pass) is based on the accomplishment of all the specified learning outcomes. Learners must demonstrate their completion of these outcomes and meet assessment criteria.

Upon achieving the OTHM Level 5 Extended Diploma in Tourism and Hospitality Management, you can pursue diverse academic tracks, including the OTHM Level 6 Diploma in Tourism and Hospitality Management. Furthermore, as this program is Ofqual regulated therefore this qualification grants direct entry into the final year of a three-year UK Bachelor’s degree program.
